Movimento für Orgel

Together with Sequenzen for two pianos, this piece for organ is the only piece in my repertoire which deals with aspects of minimal music – everybody can hear this influence. The quasi-minimalistic fluctuating of the music can be regarded as an essential aspect of this piece. Therefore the tempo of the performance should not be too slow. The steadily movement nevertheless does also implicate differences to minimalistic aspects: harmonic targets which form stations within a musical process.
